Welcome everyone to this website.  Hope you enjoy your tour.  There is some great poetry to read, some great stories that are told, and a chance to be inspired!

What do you think of my success in recovery and what I have been able to do with "Courage Canada" thus far?  I welcome your comments and suggestions.

Hello Curtis, I was at the Vilna Cowboy Festival on July 19th and heard you speak there. I salute your determination in making the recovery that you have, and your indomitable spirit.

I suffered a stroke in 2013 that has left me with lingering weakness and instability on my left side. I found that it was crucial for me to keep a positive attitude in order to strive to recover functioning, and I hear the same powerful message in your example.

Keep doing what you are doing, Curtis! You inspire many people with your words, thoughts, accomplishments and actions.

Congratulations Curtis on your success in your recovery as well as your fundraising efforts. You are truly an inspiration. Over the years I have been aware of your fundraising efforts and have read news items and seen the photos of the very successful trail rides. One thing that is a glaring contradiction though is that the only one wearing a helmet is you! You would think with all the publicity of your accident and your good example there would be more awareness of the importance of wearing safety equipment. I am an endurance rider and virtually every endurance rider wears a helmet. If anyone doesn't, they soon do because of peer pressure. Although people think they are "safe" because their horse is "quiet" and many other excuses. There are many factors that could affect the horse/rider combination that could lead to a fall and a serious head injury. It would be nice to see a person such as you promote safety equipment, starting with helmets.

Curtis came and spoke at two of our Safety Meetings for the Command Energy group last week. I was extremely impressed with his talk, humour and quick wit. Everyone that attended the talk was motivated by what he had to say, and took to heart everything that Curtis had to say. I would more then recommend him as a guest speaker for any organization interested in an excellent speaker. Thank you Curtis! You did fantastic... Paul

Hello again Curtis. I really enjoyed meeting you and your parents and attending the CFR last week-end. But I must say I enjoy the outdoor rodeos better - it just seemed too close/crowded there. I just wanted to compliment you on your presentation on Saturday - you are becoming a marvelous speaker.
See you tomorrow - Tuesday - here at the hospital. I know everyone is looking forward to your talk.

"Chasing the Neon Rainbow - Livin' the PBR Dream" WOW. ' I wrote you an e-mail, let me know if you get it . Also want to commend Deb Matters on the site . Even on dial up it's relatively easy to use and very attractive. Hi to Norman and Karen.

If you have had a chance to look over the website could you let Curtis know which poem is your favorite one...maybe he can get an idea of which ones are the most liked.
For me, I like "I Believe".
But many of the other poems are a close second, it is hard to choose.
I am thanking everyone for their inputs...Curtis would want me to do that!
