COWBOY POETRY by CURTIS ANDERSON

MY MUSIC
This song that I wrote is dedicated to #68 GLEN KEELY,
"True Champion of Life"
"Chasin That Neon Rainbow
Livin that PBR Dream"
Daddy won a radio, tuned it to a country show
I was rockin in the cradle to the cryin' of the steel guitar
Mom used to sing to me, she taught me that sweet harmony
Now she worries cuz she never thought I'd take it this far,
Singin in the bars...
***
Chasin that neon rainbow
Living that PBR Dream
All I ever wanted
Is to ride the rank bulls and win
Just tryin to be somebody
Just want to be heard and seen
Chasin that neon rainbow,
Living that PBR dream
***
Atlas and a coffee cup, Five bull riders in an old dodge truck
Headin down to Houston for a short go on a Saturday night
These entry fees are killin me, Half the time I spur for free
When the crowds in to it, makes this thing I'm doing seem right
Standing in the spotlight.
***
Chasin that neon rainbow
Living that PBR dream, All I ever wanted
Is to ride the rank bulls and win
Just tryin to be somebody
Just want to be heard and seen
Chasin that neon rainbow,
Living the PBR dream
***
Daddy's got a radio, he said son "I just know
We're gonna hear you ride on it someday"
Well I made it to the Pro show, Lordy don't those bulls trun back now
Still I wouldn't have it any other way
Just show me to the chutes...
***
Chasin that neon rainbow
Living that PBR dream
All I ever wanted
Is to ride the rank bulls and win
Just tryin to be somebody
Just want to be heard and seen
Chasin that neon rainbow,
Living that PBR dream
***
Oh I'm Chasin that neon rainbow
Living that PBR dream
